The exhibition’s opening ceremony was attended by government delegations from the two countries, headed by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the Acting Prime Minister of Afghanistan Abdul Ghani Baradar.

It was noted that these events will significantly contribute to developing mutual trade and economic relations.

The Made in Uzbekistan exhibition is organized to demonstrate the products of Uzbekistan enterprises, conclude contracts, expand Uzbekistan’s export potential, and strengthen long-term cooperation with foreign partners.

Textiles, leather and footwear, carpets, fruit and vegetable, electrical and cable products, metallurgical and petrochemical products, automotive and agricultural machinery are presented here.

Meetings and negotiations to conclude contracts between the two countries’ businesspeople are also planned.

The Made in Uzbekistan exhibition will run until August 21.
