Prospects for Cooperation Discussed with Representatives of Türkiye’s Anadolu Group

The meeting was attended by Neshet Fatih Vural, Director General of Samarkand Automobile Plant JV LLC; Akrom Aliyev, Acting Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade; Sohibjon Murodov, Director of the State Assets Management Agency; as well as other responsible representatives.

During the dialogue, the parties paid special attention to further enriching economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye with practical content, in particular by advancing new projects in the mechanical engineering industry, making effective use of existing production potential, and expanding investment initiatives.
The meeting included an exchange of views on increasing production capacities, diversifying the range of products, strengthening the level of localization, and developing industrial cooperation. It was noted that these areas are of particular importance in terms of expanding the production of high value-added products.
The parties also exchanged views on consistently increasing the share of the private sector in the economy through privatization processes. In addition, they considered opportunities to develop joint initiatives in new promising areas, attract advanced management experience and modern technological solutions, and deepen industrial cooperation with local enterprises.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to consistently continue cooperation and maintain regular dialogue aimed at achieving practical results.
