Bavaria is one of Germany’s strongest economic regions. Global companies such as BMW, Audi, Siemens, Airbus, Allianz, Munich Re, Adidas, and Puma are based in Bavaria, making it one of Europe’s leading centers for industry, engineering, medical technology, aerospace, and finance. Another key strength of Bavaria’s economy is its Mittelstand sector—small and medium-sized enterprises—as well as its dual education system. This model enables students to acquire theoretical knowledge at educational institutions while simultaneously gaining practical experience in companies.
As a result of the discussions, the parties agreed to:
- launch internship programs for Uzbek students in Bavarian government institutions and organizations with the support of the Bavarian Government;
- expand cooperation between universities of Uzbekistan and Bavarian universities of applied sciences;
- exchange expertise in dual education, applied engineering, and industry-integrated educational programs;
- strengthen cooperation with Bavarian companies on student internships and joint projects.
The meeting marked an important step toward creating new international opportunities for the youth of Uzbekistan and aligning education more closely with the needs of the real economy.
