The Fourth Meeting of the SCO Ministers of Industry

Representatives from ten nations attended the event, with the delegation from Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov.

- Following the proceedings, a Joint Communiqué was formally adopted. This document solidifies strategic plans for developing special industrial zones, facilitating the exchange of cutting-edge technologies, and promoting low-carbon projects alongside joint exhibitions.

- Furthermore, the attendees approved the draft Regulations on the SCO Investment Projects Data Bank, an initiative designed to facilitate the execution of prospective economic ventures. The meeting additionally reviewed Kyrgyzstan's proposal to establish a textile cluster and streamline the trade of light industry products. The subsequent development of this initiative will be overseen by the designated SCO working group.
