During the meeting, the current state and measures for further expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation were discussed.

Agreements were reached on taking mutual measures to increase the volume of bilateral trade and establish partnership relations between the business structures of the two countries. Work will also be intensified to identify problems and factors hindering the development of mutual trade relations and promptly address them.

The parties welcomed the opening of the representative office of the Korean province of Gyeonggi-do in Tashkent, which will contribute to strengthening interregional cooperation by utilizing the incentives and preferences provided in Uzbekistan to support investment activities.

Separately, the prospects for deepening cooperation with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Economic Development and Cooperation Fund (EDCF) were discussed.

Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to expand partnership relations and developed a format for comprehensive practical interaction within the framework of accelerated implementation of the discussed areas of cooperation.
