Meeting between Suez Group and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan noted progress in the implementation of environmental and infrastructure projects

Silver Delaunay, General Executive Director for Central Asia, Alain Carbonel, Chief Operating Officer for Central Asia and the Caucasus, Julien Maigne, Suez International SAS Tashkent Project Manager, and Umid Akbarov, Business Development Director for Central Asia represented the French delegation.
From the host side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Jasur Karshibaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzsuvtaminot JSC Tohir Khaidarov, Director of the Department for Implementation of Public-Private Partnership Projects of the Ministry of Economy and Finance Ilkhom Umrzakov and other responsible representatives.
Key agenda topics included status updates on the Environmental Alliance project, with a focus on project preparedness and next steps towards implementation. Discussions also included progress on water supply projects in the Surkhandarya region, as well as the ongoing Water Supply in Tashkent city.
In their remarks on the outcomes of the meeting, the sides expressed readiness to continue strategic partnership relations to promote Uzbekistan's environmental agenda and achieve sustainable development goals.
