The Uzbekistan-Czech Business Forum took place in Tashkent

The event convened over 200 delegates, highlighting the momentum of bilateral relations, as trade turnover has doubled over the past eight years. Currently, 37 enterprises with Czech capital operate successfully within the republic, establishing a robust foundation for partnership.
Particular emphasis was placed on Uzbekistan's investment achievements, with its GDP exceeding $145 billion in 2025. Czech companies expressed their readiness to implement industrial and transport innovations, viewing the country as a strategic hub for entering the broader Central Asian market.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a comprehensive package of agreements focused on mechanical engineering, infrastructure modernization, and education. A critical financial milestone was reached through an agreement with the Czech Export Bank and the EGAP corporation. This mechanism will provide preferential lending and risk insurance for joint high-tech manufacturing initiatives.
The forum concluded with G2B and B2B negotiations involving major corporations and financial institutions, during which the parties outlined specific steps for the implementation of joint projects.
