By the end of 2025, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states increased by 25%, surpassing $20 billion. The EAEU’s share in Uzbekistan's total foreign trade reached nearly 25%, while its share of exports stood at approximately 30%.
As part of the 2024-2026 three-year Action Plan with the EEC, cooperation has been established through a joint Working Group.
The parties agreed to expedite the preparation of a new Action Plan for 2026-2028. The 5th meeting of the joint Working Group is scheduled to take place in Tashkent later this year.
In conclusion, an agreement was reached to involve Uzbekistan in the activities of the newly established Digital Industry Portal (DIP) and to foster collaboration within this platform.
