By the end of 2025, trade turnover with China surged by 34%, reaching 17.8 billion dollars, while the number of enterprises with Chinese capital in the republic rose to 5,258.
The Chinese side reaffirmed its full support for Uzbekistan's accession to the WTO, leading to an agreement to hold meetings of the relevant Working Group on a quarterly basis.
The parties agreed to accelerate the adoption of the New Economic Partnership Program and the development of "Digital Silk Road" projects. Particular emphasis was placed on cooperation regarding "green" minerals and the financing of Uzbekistan's irrigation infrastructure modernization by the Export-Import Bank of China.
In conclusion, the officials underscored the importance of preparing for upcoming key events: the Hong Kong Business Forum on May 6, the eighth meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee, and the Third Interregional Forum in Xi'an scheduled for May 20-22.
