International scientific and practical conference

In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4843 dated 28 September 2020 “On the Organization and Conduct of the International Festival ‘Lazgi’”, as well as to assess and provide a scientific justification of the level of Uzbek national dance art in reflecting universal human and national values, an international scientific and practical conference entitled “Dance Art in Global Cultural Development: Traditions and Universal Human Values”, dedicated to the study of Uzbek and world dance art, will be held on 27 April 2026 in Khiva.

Date of the conference: 27 April 2026.
Conference venue: Republic of Uzbekistan, Khorezm Region, Khiva city.

Purpose of the conference: the preservation and development of the art of Khorezm dance “Lazgi” and the ancient traditions of other peoples; the exchange of experience in various fields of dance art; and the strengthening of friendship and brotherhood, creative cooperation, and cultural ties at the international level through the means of dance art.
