On-site receptions organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its territorial bodies

One of the priority tasks set by the head of state is to establish a systematic, open, and effective dialogue with the public.
In this regard, internal affairs agencies are consistently working to ensure direct dialogue with citizens, comprehensively examine their requests and needs, promptly review incoming applications and proposals in accordance with legal requirements, and take specific action.
On March 1, the Minister of Internal Affairs, along with responsible officials, held a mobile citizen reception.
For the convenience of citizens, and taking into account weather conditions and the remoteness of the areas, the practice of organizing receptions was continued: in person for residents of Tashkent and the Tashkent region, and online via videoconference from the buildings of territorial internal affairs agencies for residents of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other regions.
During the event, 351 inquiries related to the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were registered. The majority of inquiries covered issues related to property and monetary recovery, road safety, pre-investigation checks, inquiries, and investigative actions, as well as personnel matters.
186 of the inquiries (53 percent) were resolved positively in accordance with legal requirements. Since the remaining 165 inquiries (47 percent) required additional review and action in collaboration with relevant agencies, they were duly monitored, and the responsible officials were given specific instructions to ensure their implementation.
Furthermore, 433 inquiries were received during on-site meetings held by the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Main Internal Affairs Directorates of Tashkent City and Tashkent Region, and the regional Internal Affairs Directorates. Of these, 160 (37 percent) were resolved positively during the meeting, while 273 (63 percent) were sent for review in accordance with the established procedure, requiring additional review and oversight.
During the on-site reception, issues of concern to the public, legal problems, and mechanisms for their resolution were discussed in detail.
