Meeting with ministers and the head of the National Electricity Authority (ANDE) of the Republic of Paraguay

The parties discussed the gradual expansion of reciprocal market access, measures to increase bilateral trade, and prospects for cooperation in agro-industry, energy, mining, chemical and textile sectors, along with the development of an institutional framework for long-term partnership.

Particular attention was given to boosting trade volumes, establishing regular supplies of meat products, expanding exports of Uzbek fertilizers and textiles, and implementing joint projects under the Maquila regime to access MERCOSUR markets. The sides also considered the establishment of an Intergovernmental Commission and the preparation of an Industrial Cooperation Program for 2026–2027.

A roundtable meeting with executives of leading Paraguayan companies was also held, focusing on specific investment projects and the transition to the practical implementation of the agreements reached.
