The event gathered over 80 entrepreneurs and served as a platform to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation, and launch new joint projects.
The forum was preceded by a bilateral meeting between Uzbekistan's Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Economy, Adriana Mesarović. The parties discussed the current state and future prospects of partnership, measures to increase bilateral trade, enhance investment cooperation, further improve the contractual and legal framework, and ensure effective support for cooperative projects.
During the plenary session, the strategic nature of Uzbekistan–Serbia relations was highlighted, along with the need to significantly increase bilateral trade. Discussions focused on removing trade and logistical barriers, strengthening business engagement, establishing a bilateral Business Council, and opening trade houses in Tashkent and Belgrade.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation in pharmaceuticals, textile and chemical industries, agriculture, construction, energy and IT. The B2B and G2B formats enabled participants to elaborate on concrete initiatives and define further steps toward the implementation of joint projects.
