Meeting Held with the Minister of Health of Italy’s Piedmont Region

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation, particularly in training specialists in medicine, pharmaceuticals, and paramedicine, as well as enhancing scientific research and academic exchange programs.

The meeting addressed the expansion of joint educational programs in the field of medicine, the establishment of faculty and student exchange initiatives, the creation of internship opportunities in Italy’s leading clinics, and the exchange of experience in nurse training systems.

In particular, the parties exchanged views on developing the joint master’s program between Samarkand State Medical University and the University of Pisa, introducing grant and scholarship mechanisms for students, involving Italian specialists in the educational process, and strengthening direct cooperation with clinical institutions.

Both sides expressed their readiness to establish long-term, practical, and result-oriented cooperation in the fields of medical education and healthcare.
