Trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan is strengthening.

The parties discussed the current state and future prospects of trade, economic, investment and transport cooperation. A steady positive trend in bilateral trade was noted, and both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further increasing trade turnover under the Joint Programme aimed at raising bilateral trade to USD 10 billion by 2030.
According to the results of 2025, bilateral trade amounted to USD 4.97 billion, reflecting an 11.4% increase. Exports reached USD 1.55 billion, up 1.2% year-on-year, while imports totalled USD 3.4 billion, marking a 16.6% increase.
The parties also reviewed preparations for the first meeting of the Council of Regional Leaders of the two countries in 2026, as well as the organisation of the “Made in Uzbekistan” and “Made in Kazakhstan” industrial exhibitions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in further deepening the strategic partnership, expanding investment cooperation and maintaining a regular and constructive dialogue.
