Cooperation issues discussed with Asian Development Bank representatives

The meeting was attended by Dhaval Jamb, ADB's Chief Specialist for Public-Private Partnerships, Asilbek Khudayarov, Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Deputy Ministers of Economy and Finance Ilhomjon Umrzakov and Otabek Fazilkarimov, as well as other responsible officials.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed further development of mutually beneficial cooperation, effective implementation of joint projects, as well as the status and prospects of projects being implemented in our country on the basis of public-private partnership (PPP).
In particular, special attention was given to implementing new and modern projects in the healthcare sector based on PPP mechanisms. Proposals and initiatives were discussed regarding the establishment of modern multidisciplinary hospitals in the regions based on public-private partnerships, the introduction of advanced medical technologies, broad application of international experience, and the alignment of medical institutions with world standards.
The parties also exchanged views on issues of enhancing the effectiveness of ongoing projects and improving financing mechanisms.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties agreed to further strengthen mutual cooperation and expand the process of exchanging views on the aforementioned issues.
