The issues of expanding strategic co-operation with the UN Eurasian Economic Commission were discussed

The meeting’s agenda included a discussion regarding the relevant mechanisms and opportunities within the UN Eurasian Economic Commission for advancing the circular economy, fostering green growth, and transitioning to a sustainable green economy, along with the execution of potential projects through the “Vision–2030” Fund.
At the outset of the discussion, Mrs. Molchan expressed her satisfaction with her participation in the Third Tashkent International Investment Forum and voiced support for Uzbekistan’s ongoing reforms, commending its achievements. Correspondingly, Uzbek side emphasized the significant role of the UN Economic Commission’s active participation and efforts in executing the Sustainable Development Agenda until 2030.
Within the framework of the "Vision–2030" Fund, two projects targeting the healthcare and education sectors were actively underway, specifically focusing on supplying medical equipment to perinatal centers across the Republic and modernizing schools and training centers with IT technologies.
The meeting also provided input on the necessity of executing several collaborative initiatives targeting climate stability, enhancing energy efficiency, and refining waste management to mitigate their adverse effects on the environment.
Following the deliberations, both sides concurred to enhance their collaboration further, considering their primary objectives and perspectives.
