Issues of direction for employment of graduates of professional educational institutions in Great Britain were discussed

During the conversation, the sides reaffirmed that education is one of the priority areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom. The sides exchanged views on further expansion of relations between the two countries, including the implementation of agreements reached within the framework of yesterday's visit of British Foreign Secretary David Cameron to Tashkent.
The sides also discussed issues of targeted training of graduates of professional educational institutions of Uzbekistan to send them to the UK for decent and legal jobs.
The ambassador noted with pleasure that the number of UK educational grants for Uzbekistan has been doubled since this year.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue the projects of the British Council on improving the quality of education and formation of an effective management system, implementation of the British Pearson educational program in Uzbekistan, as well as training of specialists and graduates to send them to work in the UK.
