It discussed achievements and long-term plans for the future as a result of effective cooperation established between the two countries.

In particular, I.Makhkamov noted the wide range of ongoing cooperation with German transport companies Rhenus, Deutsche Bahn, DB Engineering & Consulting, DB Schenker and others. The Minister of Transport also expressed hope for the speedy restoration of Lufthansa flights to Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on a number of issues related to the development of cooperation in the field of transport and logistics.

Ilkhom Makhkamov wished the newly appointed ambassador success in a high and responsible position and agreed on further expansion of cooperation in the field of transport and logistics.
