The Minister of Transport met with the British Ambassador

Today, on September 5, Minister of Transport Ilkhom Makhkamov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Uzbekistan Timothy Smart.
The Ambassador highlighted the UK's interest in developing bilateral cooperation with Uzbekistan in the transport sector, in particular in infrastructure, road and railway projects. He also shared his experience in financing transport projects in Turkey and South Korea with the participation of one of the country's largest credit agencies, UK Export Finance.
I.Makhkamov noted the expansion of cooperation with the United Kingdom in the implementation of infrastructure projects, the organization of joint training programs with the transport University, as well as the establishment of flights.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop a draft memorandum on the development of cooperation and create a joint working group.
