A strategic action plan providing support for flight safety was signed between Uzbekistan and ICAO

On June 18, 2024, in the city of Paris, the delegation of the Uzaviation Agency, headed by Tahir Nazarova, took part in the first meeting of the Strategic Council for the Implementation of the Action Plan (COSPA) to improve the level of flight safety in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2024-2026.
During the meeting, the State Strategic Plan of Action (COSPA) to improve the level of flight safety in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2024-2026 was signed. The state strategic action plan to improve the level of flight safety in the Republic of Uzbekistan was developed by the Uzaviation Agency jointly with ICAO.
The implementation of COSPA will be carried out with the support of partners such as the French Aviation Administration (DGCA), the French Bureau of Investigation and Analysis of Civil Aviation Safety (BEA), the US Aviation Administration (FAA), the National Transport Safety Board (NTSB), and ACI /ACI-Europe, AIRBUS and the World Bank.
The Republic of Uzbekistan became the first state in ICAO to launch a joint COSPA program with ICAO.
