At the meeting, senior officials of ministries and departments were given a presentation on the state of implementation of information technologies in the transport sector and priority tasks planned for implementation in the future.
Today, due to the expansion of the digitalization process in the transport system of our country, a number of conveniences are being created for users of transport services. Currently, all services and the information exchange system in the Ministry of Transport are completely digitized.
In total, more than 30 information systems and platforms have been developed in the transport sector. In particular, the provision of more than 10 government services related to the industry is carried out in a completely electronic form through the “Unified Interactive Portal of Public Services” and the “Electronic Licensing System”.
The “E-Permit” information system, designed for the electronic exchange of permits in the field of international cargo transportation by road, was launched in cooperation with the Turkish and Kazakhstani republics. The implementation of this system is underway with Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
In addition, the “Dangerous Goods” information system has been launched for processing and submitting permits for the transportation of dangerous goods in transit from our Republic in electronic form.
The Form P information system, which provides electronic coordination of flight schedules to our country, was developed by foreign airlines.
“Automated dispatch system” was introduced in order to improve the quality of passenger transportation on public transport buses, control the movement of buses in real time, and ensure the priority of the “path traveled” and “quality” criteria in activities. carriers and improve public safety on buses.
In addition, an automated fare payment system for public transport has been launched in the central cities of the republic.
At the same time, the platforms “uzairways.com”, “e-ticket.railways.uz” and “avtoticket.uz” work for the remote purchase of tickets for all types of transport.
In order to develop information systems, their technical support and accelerate the digitalization of the sector, a “Digital Transport” center has been created under the ministry; it is planned to introduce more than 10 more information systems aimed at digitalizing traditional processes in the field of transport. transport sector by the end of the year.
During the meeting, issues of interdepartmental cooperation in order to develop the direction of digitalization were discussed.
