Uzbekgeofizika JSC: Results of seismic exploration for oil and gas in 2024

In 2024, in accordance with the State Programme, Uzbekgeofizika JSC successfully carried out seismic exploration works of 6,800 linear kilometres using 2D method and 1,900 square kilometres using 3D method. As a result of these surveys, 19 promising oil and gas structures were prepared for deep drilling.
In addition, 3 final geological reports were defended as part of the completed projects and submitted to the State Geological Fund. As part of preparations for 2025, new projects were developed and relevant expert opinions were obtained.
From the structures previously prepared by Uzbekgeofizika JSC and handed over for deep drilling, three new fields were discovered in 2024: Chunagar (terigene jurassic), Kuiyi Shege and Yangi Kultak.
