Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology and CRIRSCO

On 12 June this year, a meeting was held with the Chairman of the Committee for Mineral Reserves International Reporting Standards (CRIRSCO) G. Kirkham.
During the meeting the efforts of Uzbekistan to join CRIRSCO and directions of cooperation with this organization were discussed.
The Ministry and CRIRSCO signed a memorandum of understanding on improving reports on the results of geological exploration, mineral resources and mineral reserves.
