It was previously reported that Deputy Minister of Culture Murodjon Majidov was on a working visit to Navoi region.
On the second day of the trip, the Deputy Minister held a meeting with representatives of the regional cultural sector, where the achievements and shortcomings identified during the assessment were discussed.
At the beginning of the meeting, an analysis was conducted on the implementation of Presidential Decree No. PQ-406, issued on December 25, 2023, titled "Measures to Improve the Level of Cultural Services Provided to the Population". The discussion covered topics such as touring programs organized according to the plan approved by the regional administration and the Ministry of Culture, "Culture Days" events held based on mutual exchange principles, and revenue generation by amateur art groups, among other issues.
In the second part of the three-part meeting, Dilmurod Atageldiyev, head of the Information and Analytical Department of the Ministry, gave a presentation on the implementation of tasks outlined in the state program within the "Uzbekistan-2030" Strategy, specifically related to "Environmental Protection and Green Economy", as per Presidential Decree No. PF-16, dated January 30, 2025.
Following this, Jasur Shermuhammedov, head of the Digitization and Information Security Department of the Ministry, discussed the "ERP Culture" unified management system and the objectives and functions of its sub-information systems being developed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, as part of the implementation of Presidential Decree No. PQ-406, stage costumes and musical instruments were handed over to several artistic groups in Navoi region.
For reference, in 2024, a targeted plan was approved to equip amateur art groups with musical instruments, stage costumes, technical equipment, and tools. As part of this plan, 10 artistic groups in Navoi region had already received sound amplifiers, and now they were provided with national musical instruments and stage costumes.
According to the decree, artistic amateur groups with enhanced material and technical resources are expected to double their revenue in the first year and increase it by at least 20% annually thereafter.
