Yesterday, a cooperation meeting was held between the Director of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture, Shuhrat Rizayev; the Director of "Uzbekfilm" Kinoconcern Bahodir Muhammadov; the Director of Indonesia’s "Tobali Film" Deni Juliarto; and the Director of "Khata Media" Charles Vincent.
During the meeting, the Indonesian filmmakers expressed their plans to shoot a feature film that would promote the cultures of Uzbekistan and Indonesia, and they hoped for creative collaboration with the Agency in this regard.
The Indonesian filmmakers noted that the film would largely focus on the life and legacy of the great muhaddith Imam al-Bukhari and requested support for the logistical aspects of filming, including transportation, technical resources, and location arrangements.
The Uzbek side emphasized that, in accordance with established procedures, the film’s script would need to be reviewed by the Expert Council of the Agency, and upon receiving a positive evaluation, they would be ready to proceed with cooperation.
It was agreed that the organizational aspects of the filming process would be carried out at minimally agreed-upon costs.
