"Uzbekistan Film Days" planned to be held in Hungary

An online meeting was held between the First Deputy Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, Avazxon Tadjixanov, and the Hungarian Government Commissioner for National Film Industry, Chaba Kael.
The online meeting was also attended by the Director of the Cinematography Agency, Shuhrat Rizayev, the Director of the Hungarian National Film Institute, Akosh Pal, and a representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Budapest.
During the conversation, the prospects for deepening cooperation in the field of cinematography aimed at expanding cultural and creative relations between the two countries were discussed, along with the preparation of an intergovernmental agreement draft for the co-production of films.
Special attention was paid to the issue of creating a historical joint film about Uzbek and Hungarian travelers Mulla Sodiq and Armin Vamberi.
At the end of the meeting, agreements were reached to hold "Uzbekistan Film Days in Hungary" from January 30 to February 1 of this year and to implement joint film projects. Both parties expressed their mutual interest in continuing work to develop cooperation.
