The opening ceremony of the "Uzbekistan Culture Days" and a gala concert featuring Uzbek artists took place in Turkmenistan.
On November 18, the "Makom Center" Palace in Ashgabat hosted the opening ceremony of the "Uzbekistan Culture Days." The event featured a speech by Bahodir Ahmedov, the First Deputy Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan.
"The Uzbek and Turkmen peoples have long lived as close friends, harmonious neighbors, and strategic partners united by common goals. Thus, the roots of relations between the two states go back to ancient times and are built on mutual respect and trust. Today, it is important to talk about the friendly relations with Turkmenistan, one of Uzbekistan's closest strategic partners, which are reaching new heights. Indeed, historical steps have been taken between the two friendly states to elevate cooperation in social, economic, cultural, and educational spheres, identifying new directions and prospects for partnership," noted Bahodir Ahmedov during his speech.
