From April 2 to 5, the opening ceremony of the "Samarkand City - Cultural Capital of the Commonwealth in 2024" events took place.
After the opening, various events and roundtable discussions were organized.
Currently, in Samarkand, as part of the closing of the "Samarkand - Cultural Capital of the Commonwealth in 2024" events, a number of events and creative meetings are being held.
In particular, yesterday, within the framework of the event, a masterclass was held at the Samarkand Specialized Art School, led by the delegation of the artistic director of the CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra, People's Artist of Russia S. Skripka.
During the roundtable, S. Skripka and others shared information about their creative and life paths, the orchestra, and classical art.
As part of the event, officials from the Commonwealth of Independent States Humanitarian Cooperation Intergovernmental Fund presented books written in Braille to the Special Library for the Blind of Samarkand Region.
For reference, the events will continue until November 16.
