Today, comprehensive reforms are being carried out in the field of culture in our country aimed at enhancing the quality of education in line with modern requirements, particularly in the field of culture and art, especially in theatrical arts, based on international qualifications. Attention is also being paid to the creation of a system for training future theater specialists based on advanced international practices. Moreover, in collaboration with leading foreign universities, efforts are being made to enhance the qualifications of specialists in the field of culture and art, including the involvement of highly qualified experts in the educational process of theatrical arts.

In line with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 7, 2021, No. 558 “On approving the Regulation on the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” upon the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Russian Institute of Theater Arts (GITIS), from November 1, 2024, courses for faculty members of higher educational institutions and young specialists from state theaters were launched at the Center for Professional Development at the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan.

A total of 13 faculty members from higher educational institutions and 18 specialists from state theaters are participating in the courses. The training is being conducted by qualified experts from GITIS – M. Oryol and K. Kazakevich. The courses are being held at a high level and will continue in both traditional and remote formats until November 30.
