Congratulating the industry workers on their professional holiday, the Minister of Mining and Geology, Bobur Islamov, highlighted the modernization processes and the implementation of modern technologies carried out in recent years. These reforms are becoming a crucial foundation not only for increasing production capacity but also for monitoring the rational use of resources.
The meeting defined priority tasks for significantly increasing the production volumes of copper, gold, silver, and uranium for the period until 2030. Importantly, artificial intelligence technologies will now be widely introduced into geological exploration and industrial processes. This will enable transparent monitoring of every extracted raw material and every investment made.
Major investment projects implemented at "NMMC" JSC, "AMMC" JSC, "Navoiyuran" SE, "Uzmetkombinat" JSC, "Uzbekistan Technological Metals Combinat" JSC, and "Uzbekko'mir" JSC play a central role in industrial development. During the event, a group of employees who demonstrated dedication to their work were presented with departmental awards in accordance with the Minister's order.
From an analytical perspective, such achievements in the sector are a guarantee of Uzbekistan's economic stability. The increase in the production of strategic metals, along with enhancing export potential, ensures the regularity of revenues to the state budget.
The application of technological control and artificial intelligence will serve to reduce corruption risks and strengthen legality in the field. This, in turn, will further increase the attractiveness of Uzbekistan's mining industry for international investors.
