The exhibition was organized in cooperation with the Agency for Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement, the Ministry of Mining and Geology, the Tashkent Regional Khokimiyat, and "Almalyk MMC" JSC. The event served not only as a showcase for products but also as a platform for direct dialogue between large industrial enterprises and the private sector.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Mining and Geology, B. Islamov, and the Chairman of the Board of "AMMC" JSC, A. Khursanov. They emphasized the strategic importance of import substitution within the industrial chain and the necessity of supporting local manufacturers.
Alongside industrial giants such as "NMMC" JSC, "AMMC" JSC, "Navoiyuran" SE, "UzTMC" JSC, "Uzmetkombinat" JSC, and "Uzbekugul" JSC, more than 90 local entrepreneurs displayed their products. Additionally, over 500 corporate representatives attended to explore cooperation opportunities. The total number of registered participants exceeded 2,500, indicating high interest in the event.
Units of the Militarized Mine Rescue Part also took an active part, demonstrating their potential in safety assurance and rescue equipment. During the exhibition, the leadership of "AMMC" JSC became closely acquainted with the activities of the rescue service and its modern equipment.
As a result of the two-day negotiations, 30 significant agreements were reached. The total value of these contracts amounted to nearly 212.1 billion soums. Simultaneously, to strengthen the integration of science and production, memorandums of cooperation were signed with institutions such as the Academy of Sciences, the Almalyk branch of "MISIS" University, and the University of Geological Sciences.
On May 16, the series of events continued in the city of Almalyk on the occasion of "Mining and Metallurgical Industry Workers' Day." The contributions of industry workers were recognized, and issues regarding the implementation of modern technologies were discussed.
The results of this exhibition demonstrate that the industrial cooperation system in Uzbekistan has become a mechanism with clear economic efficiency. The "mentorship" (shatakka olish) system created for local producers, while reducing import volumes, also contributes to job creation.
The participation of industrial safety and state control bodies in these processes ensures compliance with technical regulations at enterprises. This, in turn, increases the competitiveness of manufactured products and guarantees the stability of the national economy.
