During the reporting period, inspection specialists conducted special investigations into three major incidents. Notably, on March 21, an assistant electric locomotive driver was injured while troubleshooting a technical fault at the "Rail Transport" branch of "JSC Uzbekugol." The investigation materials have been compiled and submitted to the Investigation Department of the Angren City Internal Affairs Bureau for legal evaluation. Furthermore, commission work is ongoing regarding severe injuries sustained at the "Sharqiy-Qurama" field expedition and the "Wagon Repair Depot."
To ensure industrial safety, the following measures were implemented by the inspectorate:
-
Technical Inspections: A desk audit was conducted at the "NISHBASHKO‘MIR" LLC foreign enterprise, with safety coordination scheduled for completion by April 30.
-
Geological Monitoring: New cracks formed at the Naugarzon mine site of "GEOREZERV" LLC were inspected, and recommendations were provided to mitigate landslide risks.
-
Prevention: Five unannounced preventive inspections were carried out at various branches of "JSC Uzbekugol."
Additionally, inspection staff participated in final examinations at the "Training Center" for excavator operators and electromechanics to monitor the quality of vocational training.
These oversight activities serve to strengthen technological discipline in the mining industry and timely eliminate factors that may pose a threat to human life. The in-depth analysis of each incident is a crucial component of the preventive mechanism, ensuring that similar errors are not repeated in the future.
