Tactical training exercises were organized in the Militarized Mine Rescue Detachment serving the facilities of the Angren Mining Administration, as well as in the Khondiza mine rescue platoons assigned to the Khondiza mine. During the sessions, the rescuers' skills in using technical equipment and their promptness in decision-making under difficult conditions were tested.
At the same time, large-scale training exercises took place at the Guzaksay mine, belonging to the Chodak Mining Administration. In this process, employees of the 5-A Militarized Mine Rescue Platoon and the mining administration worked in cooperation. According to the exercise scenario, a simulated fire broke out in the mine. The rescuers were tasked with extinguishing the fire in the shortest possible time and evacuating workers to a safe area.
During the exercises, which were brought as close as possible to a real-life situation, special attention was paid to the following aspects:
-
Professional skills of mine rescuers in fire suppression;
-
Search and rescue of people trapped in the simulated fire zone;
-
Methods of providing first aid to the injured;
-
Organized and rapid execution of the evacuation process.
As a result of the control activities, a high degree of readiness of the rescue units was confirmed, and the serviceability of technical equipment and breathing apparatus was verified. The psychological preparedness of the personnel for actions in extreme situations was also reviewed.
These practical exercises are an important part of systemic control, ensuring compliance with safety regulations at production facilities. Prevention and regular training guarantee not only the economic stability of large industrial enterprises but also the implementation of state standards for labor protection. The regularity of such events plays a vital role in preventing man-made risks in the mining sector.
