Details of the Operational Event in the Border Zone
A special control event was conducted by the State Security Service Department for the Andijan region and the regional Customs Administration at the "Dustlik" border customs post located in the Khojaabad district.
During the event, a woman born in 1985 and her daughter born in 2006, both residents of the Balykchi district, were detained due to suspicious behavior. The inspection revealed that these individuals attempted to transport precious metals hidden under their clothing to the neighboring Kyrgyz Republic without declaring them to customs.
Identified Damage and Legal Measures
The valuables seized as material evidence were inspected with the participation of specialists. The results showed the following indicators:

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the offenders under point "a" of Part 2 of Article 182 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Violation of customs legislation). Investigative actions are being carried out under this article. This case is evaluated as a serious offense directly affecting the economic interests of the state.
