Inspection for control in the field of mining industry and geology under the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

At the beginning of the meeting, the national anthem was played on the occasion of the Day of the adoption of the National anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The importance and significance of the anthem in strengthening national identity and patriotic spirit was emphasized.

After that, the presentation of the prosecutor of the Kasansai district of Namangan region “On the establishment and elimination of the causes that led to the crime” was read out. The document describes the details of the criminal case under investigation involving two business entities and officials of the Eastern Regional Inspectorate, its consequences and measures that need to be taken to prevent similar cases in the future. At the same time, it was noted that appropriate measures should be taken against the guilty employees.

Further, in the final part of the meeting, the results of the competition within the framework of the anti-corruption month held in the system of the Ministry of Geology were announced. Jamshid Zikirov, an anti-corruption inspectorate specialist, took 1st place in the nomination “The most active Compliance Officer”, and the inspectorate was also recognized as worthy of 3rd place in the nomination “The most effective Anti-Corruption Compliance Structure". In connection with these achievements, the management of the inspectorate solemnly presented certificates of honor to Jamshid Zikirov and the chief legal adviser of the inspectorate, Zhaloliddin Bozorkhonov.
