On January 13, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General Bekmurod Abdullaev, held a video selector meeting regarding the activities of the Crime Prevention Service during the 12 months of 2023.
During this meeting, the work of crime prevention units of the internal affairs bodies on improving the criminogenic environment in the mahallas, curbing and preventing crimes as soon as possible was reviewed critically and analytically, and the activities of local internal affairs officials, who made mistakes and had shortcomings, were evaluated as well.
Following the meeting, a sharp reduction in crime and an increase in patriotism were determined as priority tasks to be accomplished in 2024.
