Security issues discussed in advance of the “European Union - Central Asia” summit in Samarkand

On March 17, a meeting was held in Samarkand under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs leadership on the occasion of the first “EU-Central Asia” summit to be held in Samarkand on April 3-5 of this year.
It was attended by responsible leaders and employees of law enforcement agencies.
At the meeting, measures were determined to be jointly implemented by law enforcement agencies and state authorities to ensure a high level of security during the preparation and hosting of an important mass political event in Samarkand.
