Academic lyceums of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Nukus "Temurbeklar Maktabi" and the specialized boarding school place an emphasis on training young people in patriotism, courage and physical fitness.
Therefore, the "Combat Training Demonstrations" competition was held at the "JAR" sports and recreation complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from February 28 to March 1, 2024.
Participants demonstrated their practical skills in maintaining public order and combating crime during the competition. Competitors tested their skills in armed and unarmed combat, defense, and attack methods.
The purpose of this competition was to provide students with the opportunity to improve their combat skills and abilities for future military service.
Major General Davron Nazarmuhamedov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, stated at the event that the purpose of these competitions is to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism and to increase their physical and combat activity.
Additionally, it was noted with pride that the government has created all the necessary conditions in this regard, which has led to the young people achieving high results in various sports competitions.
The competition resulted in a number of winners. The Namangan Academic Lyceum coach won the award for "Best Team Coach." "Most Active Team Leader" was awarded to the head of the Surkhandarya Academic Lyceum.
Karakalpak Academic Lyceum and Tashkent Academic Lyceum No. 1 students won the "Best Girl and Boy Participant" awards.
In the overall team standings, the Bukhara Academic Lyceum team took third place, and the Jizzakh Academic Lyceum team took second place. As a result of the strong competition and high standards of skill displayed in the competition, the Andijan Academic Lyceum team won the cup for the third time in a row.
Diplomas and valuable gifts were awarded to the winners. As well as strengthening physical fitness, this competition encourages young people to love their country and to train loyal and courageous personnel.
