Scientific and Advisory Council of the CIS met under the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs

On November 23, Moscow, Russia hosted the next meeting of the Scientific Advisory Council under the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The meeting was attended by delegations of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Armenia, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, as well as the director and representatives of the CIS Coordination Bureau for Combating Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crime.
The head of the research centre of the Ministry, professor I. Fazilov and the Deputy head of the Academy, Professor R. Nigmatov, participated on behalf of the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, issues of interstate cooperation in combating terrorism crimes, forming public relations in migration and ensuring data security were discussed.
The Scientific Advisory Council presented a report on its activities in 2023. A draft work plan for this Council for 2024 was also discussed.
