The purpose of the press conference was to discuss the content and essence of the amendments and additions to the Criminal Code and Criminal Procedure Codes of Uzbekistan, as well as the Code of Administrative Responsibility, as they relate to improving the road traffic safety system.
During the press conference, Colonel Sherzod Ibragimov, Head of the Road Traffic Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reported on the work completed and results achieved in ensuring road traffic safety.
Thereafter, Colonel Erali Bozorov, Deputy Head of the Road Traffic Safety Service, explained in detail the content and essence of the newly adopted Uzbekistan Law No. 1033.
Over 20 media representatives, journalists and bloggers attended the event, where officials answered their questions. An open and productive atmosphere prevailed during the press conference.
