Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

the Committee for Family and Women, the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Migration Agency, and the "Vatandoshlar" Foundation, is currently visiting the Republic of Korea for a working visit.

This trip is intended to investigate the living and working conditions of women from our country in South Korea and provide practical assistance to citizens facing difficult circumstances.

During the visit, the delegation members met with the leadership of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Affairs, the Korea Women's Development Institute, the Women and Family Assistance Foundation, and the Migrant Women's Counseling Centers and learned about their activities.

Discussions focused on the opportunities and prospects for further development of Uzbek-Korean cooperation in the area of gender policy, protection and promotion of the rights of migrant women and their families.

It was highly appreciated by the Korean side that Uzbekistan is implementing reforms to increase the political, social and economic participation of women, protect maternal and child health, and promote gender equality.

The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan is continuing its activities in Korea. As part of its activities, mobile receptions will be held in the capital as well as in the regions of South Korea to discuss and resolve the problems that Uzbek migrants and women encounter.
