On February 4, Major General Davron Nazarmukhamedov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, chaired the report meeting at the Andijan Regional Internal Affairs Department. This meeting discussed critically the rapid preventive measures implemented in the region during the 12 months of 2024 to combat crime, prevent offences, maintain public order and ensure the well-being of citizens.

As a result of the analysis, reports from responsible leaders were heard, and based on the results of the discussion, strict disciplinary measures were taken against a number of leaders and employees who had deficiencies in their performance of their duties.

A group of employees who have been setting a positive example for their colleagues by maintaining exemplary public order, ensuring citizens' safety, and preventing crime and delinquency early were also encouraged.

Following the meeting, instructions were given to organize work based on qualitative implementation of the tasks outlined in the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PR-1, dated January 3, 2025, to create a safe environment in mahallas and further increase the effectiveness of the early prevention system.
