The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a solemn festive event on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and the Day of Defenders of the Homeland

The event was attended by personnel of the internal affairs bodies who have devoted their lives to the great and noble purpose of maintaining peace and order in the country. They have also served selflessly in the fight against crime and prevention of violations, as well as veterans and family members of employees who died in the line of duty.
During the solemn ceremony, Minister of Internal Affairs Pulat Bobojanov spoke about the large-scale reforms being carried out in the internal affairs bodies, which are an essential foundation of our country's Armed Forces. He emphasized that the system has become a professional structure that provides timely and high-quality services to citizens. Each employee considers his or her highest duty to serve the country and people with loyalty and strives to respect and uphold the dignity of all individuals.
On the occasion of the Day of Defenders of the Homeland, 10 employees of the internal affairs bodies received state awards by decree of the Head of State. The service of the employees was highly recognized. Pulat Bobojonov presented departmental awards to 432 personnel and veterans in accordance with the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs. Special titles were also presented during the ceremony.
Veterans, awarded employees, and public representatives spoke at the holiday event. They stressed that it is an honourable duty to serve the Motherland and the people faithfully.
