On December 21, a meeting was held between the First Deputy Chairman of the Volleyball Federation of Uzbekistan, Bekmurod Abdullayev and the Rector of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports, Rashid Matkarimov.

At the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed on the involvement of volleyball students studying at the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports as referees during the Uzbekistan Championship, Cup and international competitions and on improving their skills, forming a men's and women's national volleyball team based on the requirements of the university and ensuring their participation in the Uzbekistan Championship and Cup competitions starting in 2025, and on some other issues. First Deputy Chairman of the Volleyball Federation of Uzbekistan, Bekmurod Abdullayev, and Rector of the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Culture and Sports, Rashid Matkarimov, attended the meeting.

Further, Serbian international coach Branislav Moro of the FIVB was invited to Uzbekistan to further develop volleyball in our country and raise it to world standards. A long-term plan for 2025 was developed with the assistance of an experienced coach.
