An unidentified driver was arrested by the Crime Detection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with a case involving the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs.
He was stopped in the Parkent district of the Tashkent region while driving a "Damas" car and found to have 2 kg 160g of synthetic narcotic drugs with an estimated value of 2 billion 800 million UZS in the trunk. The operation prevented the illegal trafficking of 10,800 times the amount of synthetic narcotics.
A second operational measure was taken by the Crime Detection Department of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the State Security Service and the Tashkent City Police Department in the Chilanzar district. Three individuals were arrested in a "Lacetti" car while delivering 3 kg of hashish to "conditional buyers" from a hidden location using the "bookmarking" method. Three kilograms of hashish were seized from seven detained individuals during the operational measures.
As part of the operational measures conducted in Andijan, a 1965-born individual was arrested while selling 1 kg of hashish for 5,000 US dollars to a "conditional buyer". In Chilanzar district, a 2000-born individual was detained with material evidence for selling 200 grams of "Hashish" to a special buyer for 3,000 US dollars.
A criminal case has been initiated on the identified circumstances, and an investigation is undertaken.
