The training and practical seminar was organized at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to convey the essence of the priority tasks set in connection with the speeches of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Senate and Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on November 18-20, 2024, and the declaration of 2025 as the “Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy”.
The Minister of Internal Affairs provided the audience with a comprehensive understanding of the tasks that sector leaders must carry out to ensure public safety. This included creating a safe environment in mahallas and ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens. Special emphasis was placed on the priority tasks set for responsible leaders in the areas of general crimes, crimes that must be prevented, crimes that must be detected, and a sharp reduction in mahalla crimes.
As part of Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 801, dated November 30, 2024, entitled "On measures to increase the effectiveness of the social prevention system in mahallas based on the principle of "Well-off and safe mahalla", necessary recommendations were given on working separately with each category of "Social Prevention" object.
During the seminar, the tasks established in the "Safe Family" principle, regional experiences in creating safe conditions in mahallas, discussion procedures for dealing with crimes, working with youth, tasks for the autumn-winter season, and elimination of outstanding problems in reducing poverty were improved through lectures and interactive methods.
The training and seminar will continue in 3 stages and with three groups until December 21. In the first stage, over 250 listeners participated in each group, including leaders of ministries and departments and sector leaders from the regions of Andijan, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Navoi, and Sirdarya.
