An international expert, Reit Picaro, conducted the seminar for professors and teachers of the specialty department and master's students on the topic "Organizing police activity using real-time data".
In two days, participants developed skills in using real-time data to combat crime, working with modern information systems and sources, forecasting and analyzing crime dynamics, and increasing the resilience of law enforcement agencies.
Antti Karttunen, OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan, and Rustam Khatamov, Head of the Academy, attended the event following the seminar training.
The head of the Academy highly appreciated the importance of the training held within the framework of mutual cooperation. He stressed the importance of studying advanced practices in law enforcement, strengthening educational integration, and modern threats and new forms of crime in global transformation.
During the discussion, the parties agreed to organize training on current topics based on prospective projects and to expand the scope of cooperation.
