Today, regional activists, senators, representatives of state and public organizations, residents of the region and youth gathered under the national flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which was placed in Nurafshan city. Everyone expressed sincere respect for the symbol of our nation's independence, freedom, peace, and stability. Guards of honour lined up.
A solemn parade was held with military personnel in military equipment, cavalry units, and vehicles of the internal affairs bodies, the Defense Department and the National Guard.
The event began under the slogan "Flag of the Nation" and featured playing the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Tashkent region governor, Zoyir Mirzayev, opened the event and congratulated everyone on today's joy.
