On November 18, training on the topic "Cybercrimes committed by or against children" was launched in collaboration with the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The First Deputy Head of the Institute, Ulugbek Rasulev, opened the training and informed the participants about the Advanced Training Institute activities.
The training will be conducted by Timothy Eric Curtis, Security Advisor to the United Kingdom. It will cover topics such as cybercrimes, investigating crimes committed using computer technology, signs and symptoms of violence, factors that hinder reporting crimes, children's rights, treating the suspect as a victim, the qualities of the person with whom the child wants to talk, UNICEF's approach to conducting interviews and recording testimonies.
The event is attended by employees of educational institutions and relevant specialists of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Republics of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as professors and teachers of the Academy and the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to enhance their knowledge and skills.
